In an attempt to bring you the 'real-deal' version of motorcycling..the true grit of motorsports..and the triumphant passion of a million riders across India, we have devised our own way of working. We are not 'the industry'...we don't work like the 'industry' and we don't have 'industry' standards.. We attempt to make our own standards, our own benchmarks and the results are expected to percolate on your screen. Here is a low down on those who make it all possible 

Every team needs a person who works as a cohesive force between the team members, schedules content, creates a conducive atmosphere for brainstorming creative ideas and willingly accepts to be the captain of the ship. An avid and passionate biker at heart, Ten Hut stands in good stead to the team as a test rider, content creator, assistant video editor and as a presenter. Loves to share the joy of riding and loves to do it the 'sport riding' way, he has sworn to be on two wheels all his life and beyond !

PTR boasts of the best video editor in the whole of India. This guy edits his videos in Microsoft Paint and writes them down to floppies. He can drink a beer at the drop of a hat and has this intense ability to sleep at will. Legend has it that he once slept underneath a cannon on Napoleon Bounapartes battlefield. Apart from editing, Agent Shetty jointly spearheads the ship along with Ten Hut and swears by his mercenaries and pirates to fight the battle to victory if need be.There is also this rumour doing the rounds in the inside circle of PTR that he has had his mouse finger insured for more than a million. Point taken !

Job Profile: Founder | Video Editor.

A rider is at the core of anything happening at PTR and the role gets played by Sagar "Sergeant" Sheldekar. He has sold his soul to the devil in return for a life time supply of High ! The High of riding bikes. The High of flying on two wheels. Competitive as what a true sergeant should be he is constantly found achieving zero body fat index.  Races at the Yamaha One Make National Championships  whenever time and resources permit him and is otherwise found omnipotent on the State-Highway 57 also called as the 'Road to Lavasa". We needed someone with a sane head on his shoulders as against the the self proclaimed stereotypical mad max test riders that are found elsewhere and Sergeant fit the bill perfectly. But that doesn't mean he can't hit you there where it will hurt the most; in a corner!

Good with photos and good with videos and the only person who shoots more than he talks. PTR is incomplete without a true photographer with plenty of experience in the industry. As reliable as a 'fire and forget' cruise missile,  Ajay 'Reliability Expert' Singh was inducted late but now forms the backbone of all our camera work ! Randomly pause at any of the videos he has shot and the frame will be a mind boggling photograph.. More dexterous with his brain than with his steady hand,  Ajay Singh spins a cob web of creative ideas and gets the job done with whatever camera you give him.  A jack of all the trades is often more useful than a specialist and our reliability expert proves that to the world once again

 Every team needs at least two test riders if not for anything then atleast to witness two good riders duking it out with each other to be the best out there. This is where Roger "Scarface" Kekhlekar comes into the play. Trained at the California Superbike School once and about to be trained again in the year 2012,  Roger is a 'Scarface' cause he rides like one. Rides to live and lives to ride, Rogers style is not as sane as Sergeants and will often take you on the outside. An indispensable help behind the scenes Roger keeps an eye on the PTR schedule we trust him with that as much as he trusts his bike when leaned over at 40 degrees on a cold Sunday Morning.

Amidst having all the fun with bikes and cameras someone needs to make sure that the shot is done technically right and with the right equipment. Enter our very own shoot engineer Anshuman Kataria.  There is nothing hedonistic about his modus operandi when on the field.  Has one eye on the execution of a shot while the other is keeping tab of the newest technology out there.His largest contribution to the team is the ability to convert raw ideas into a lexicon of executed shots on the field.

Every team needs a guy who is the James Bond of the unit. Someone who is in it to kick ass and flirt with the girls. A hero to the girls and a hero to the team, we bring you the steadiest hand in India, Harshad Sutar ! With a built in image stabilizer in his hand his steady shots almost always make it into the final cut making tripods look obsolete.  Precise to shoot and always eager to deliver, you know the shoot is in safe hands when Harshad Sutar is on it.

When dealing with short films or miniature documentaries you need someone who can call the shots the right way. Someone who is from the industry and goes about doing things the way they ought to be done. Enter Vivek Kumar. A director and a scriptwriter, Vivek Saab is the guy PTR runs to every now and then when in need of wise Gandalf the Grey ! A hedonistic alpha male to the core, the only time you won't find him joking is when on the sets working. Take it to the next level..take it to Vivek Kumar.

Enter Ritwik "The Priest" Bhatt. With a strong mechanical inclination and a solid understanding of how a bike works Ritwik celebrates being a rider not just by riding but by expanding his knowledge about bikes and by sharing it with PTR. Works as a consultant with us on our bike reviews and gladly converts into a camera bike when shooting if the need be. Trained at California Superbike School he knows his game as much as any other test rider at PTR but chooses to underplay it.

Moto Mofo...the name is supposed to strike fear in the minds of cagers. Moto Mofo is an unbeatable biking superhero who has decided to work with PTR for years to come.

We trust him to transform the way a rider thinks through the sharing of erudition possessed by him. Having helped us compile a whole guide towards motorcycling in India, Moto Mofo now has his eyes set on a completely revolutionary idea. We asked him what he was working at we got nothing out of him but a mere 'You shall know when its time'
